Has anyone been told that this is what there lump is im getting really confused and figure its best to ask you guys as you know im still waiting for my results but doc reckons its probably only a fatty lump which is apparently normal but the information i am reading online is conflcting with what i feel in my breast and my ultrasound. online it says you can clearly make out limpoma on ultrasound but on mine nothing was visable in fact the lady doin ultrasound informed me i didnt even have a lump the doc examined me and found the lump and stuck a needle in it said i would have results within a week also reading about fatty lumps they are apparently difficult to get anything from but doc had no problems taking fluid from mine i know i am probably getting in a state over nothing but i cant help it

Hi. I understand why you are getting into a state but one thing I have learned in a relatively short space of time since my diagnosis, is try to resist the temptation to read too much about people’s differing experiences with breast cancer and the surgery and follow up treatment, until you have a firm diagnosis. Chances are it will be nothing sinister and you can heave a big sigh of relief. And then you can decide whether to ask to have the lump removed so that it is totally off your mind forever. IF it turns out to be serious, rest assured you took control of the situation by getting yourself checked out rather than burying your head in the sand. Fingers crossed you will have nothing to worry about xx
