I had mastectomy and reconstruction with gel implant. After 1 year shape and size of breast is not good, surgeon suggested lipomodelling.
Has anyone else had this done, can you please let me know if it works. X

I had a gel and saline implant 9 years ago, after my mastectomy and it has started leaking and is now an odd shape so my consultant has suggested lipomodelling with a new implant. I’m going back to see him at the end of September to discuss the procedure and I’m booked in for the surgery at the end of October. I’m still unsure about it but my consultant said that it would make it look smoother. I’m going to check how long it will take me to recover from the procedure before making a final decision. I’ll post again when I find out more.
