Hi, I’d a mastectomy followed by immediate diep in Nov 2022, I then had a local recurrance which was removed in April 2024, this was followed by radiotherapy which I completed in July of this year. I’ve had a sore breast (diep side) since, my bcn says this is normal, due to radiotherapy.
I’ve noticed recently there’s like a liquid swelling just above the scar to remove my second cancer, and was planning on phoning bcn about it on Monday, but i’ve now noticed quite a large liquid swelling immediately below my reconstructed breast that I hadn’t noticed before, it’s running from immediately below my reconstruction to base of my ribs, so about 2-3inches.
I know it’s not normal, but would you have any idea what it could be? Could it be seroma given how long agi i’d surgery?
