I am slowly recovering from WBR and have put the exhaution down to that. However I have got pain in my lower back, leg and a drop foot. I have mets in spine and hip. Saw ONC yeaterday and brain scan showed the tumout has shrunk and there is no other evidence of mets. I am going to have MRI scan of back and abdo as my tumour markers have shot up again. That and the exhaustion are my usual indications that something is wrong. We discussed, briefly, ablation, should the problem be in my liver. Has anyone had this done and if so where and by whom. I live in the North East and would appreciate your imput. I know I am slightly ahead of myself but I like to be prepared. Mills
Yes,I’d like to know if anyone has had thermal ablation done on liver too as I have secondaries on my liver.

Hi, a friend has had liver ablation with good results and a quick recovery. I (think) she went to the Chelsea and Westminster hospital for her ablation whilst still remaining a patient at the Royal Marsden. And I think the doc was Dr Bhattacharya. I’m pretty sure liver (thermal) ablation is also carried out at the Royal London hospital.
