anyone cursed with a very dry cough when their mets were dx and post treatment if so what did the onc dx it as and what did it respond to
Hi. I didn’t suffer from a cough for my liver mets, but I did have a very annoying cough with my pleural effusion (lungs). After my lungs were drained, the cough stopped. Since my diagnosis I’ve had three cycles of Carboplatin chemotherapy and feel fine.
Hope this helps but feel free to pm me.

Great news that your lungs are clear. I’ve been diagnosed with secondaries to the liver, lungs, sternum and lymph nodes so the treatment I’m receiving is systemic. I’m at the half way point in my current treatment and am waiting for the results, fingers crossed that it’s good news.
Let me know how it it goes on Monday.
