Does anyone know how much of a delay you can have between herceptin doses before you have to have the loading dose again? I missed my most recent dose due to chest pains but am hoping to get my next dose soon.

You might find it helpful to talk this through with a member of staff on the BCC helpline. Here you can share any concerns you may have with someone who will offer you a listening ear as well as practical infomration. I was told 4 weeks max. One day over that and I would need the loading dose again. Needless to say I was there exactly 4 weeks later!

Off to get dose number 12 tomorrow after a 2 week delay. Onc confirmed if I’d gone over 4 weeks I’d get loading dose again.
