Hi all
this has been the longest weekend of my life, have surgery on Tuesday & would have preferred going to work rather than sitting around the house. Woke up on Friday with a bit of a cold & decided with the weather being so horrid best to stay indoors, what a mistake it’s been horrendously boring. It has only given me more time to think about surgery. Find myself staying up late & not wanting to get up in the morning, this isnt me at all so will have to get out of this habit. Having lunch with kids & grandchildren tomorrow,be so glad to get out of the house.
Good luck Raine for Tuesday, will be thinking of you,
Take care ladies
Lynn
Hi Murdo
I know just how you are feeling - the waiting is the worst time. I had my op back in Nov last year - time seemed to move backwards while i was waiting!!
Hope you have a lovely time with your kids and grandchildren tomorrow - Tuesday will (hopefully) be here before you know it
best of luck

Lynn just to reiterate what others have said about the waiting and how tough it is and thinking of you for Tuesday.
Angie, fab photo.
Thin layer of snow outside, winter has arrived at last!!!

I’ve found the waiting for surgery the hardest personally, which was daft because it comes and passes faster than you think and all ths stuff afterwards isn’t as hard as you think either. Good luck and I’ll check back in tomorrow in case you’re worrying. It’s normal to do so, but I swear it’s not as bad as you think. Just ot put this into perspective for me it was the very first time I went under a general anesthetic and I had a double mastectomy. This was me only 3 days later (OK I have made a very fast recovery so don’t beat yourself up if you feel down afterwards that’s normal too). The one thing wasn’t prepared for is how hard I found it to sleep in hospital so it you do feel really bad while in there don’t assume it just the surgery and drugs as I found getting home a real help, partly because I was ith my lovely fiance again but also because I got a good night’s sleep. SO play it by ear as they day and you will come through and none of it will be as bad as you think.
Hope this helps Angie
Hi Lynn, I agree it’s been a long break for you to think about your surgery. I would like to wish you the very best for tomorrow.Hope to see you posting again soon, take care
