Look Good, Feel Good course

Hi ladies
A while ago I booked into Look Good Feel Good course at Maggies Centre at Christies today! Im so glad I went! It was interesting and funny, especially watching some ladies applying blusher and eyebrows never having done it before…but all were good sports! You can take family or friend too!
The course is held at all 19 Maggies Centres but at 94 places all over UK and is charity run!
We leave with a goody bag of beauty products worth up to £200 which they show us how to use.
The goods are all donated by the companies including Lancome, Clinique, Liz Earle, Revlon, No 7, Bare Essentials!
There are 3/4 lovely ladies who show us how to slap it on!
The course does get booked up so be sure to get it in early. You can always cancel if needed!
Feeling good because we know we look better with some make up plays a big part in our confidence!
Since chemo I’ve thought I look haggard and tired and skin has been very dry but applying a bit of slap if you arent used to it will make you feel lots better.xxx

I’ve just sent them an email as my hospital isn’t on their website though the chemo nurse told me that they did the workshops there.

Also I have a leaflet for the Willow charity. This is for people aged 16-40 and you can get free holidays and experiences. Haven’t used it yet but worth investigating.

Im too old too! How about over 50s???:0

Mine is booked for 8th November. Only wear makeup for the office Christmas party each year. My mum is not a makeup wearer and I just never found out how to do it really. My YD in the other hand has worn makeup since she was about 12. She is entirely self taught and looks amazing. She has just started uni though so I can’t call on her expertise. I have watched a few YouTube videos and can pull it off once a year but feel that I might need some extra glamour for my pale winter skin this year

You will learn so many handy hints on how to look after your skin and apply make up ladies and dont need to buy any too!!!
You will enjoy yourselves.xxx

Sorry ladies I wasn’t told about anything available for those over 40. Fortunately I do still qualify and my chemo nurse said that not many people were aware of the Willow charity so I thought I’d spread the love.

Have a great day
