Hi.
On round 5 of chemo and just had a really bad night with back spasms. Spoke to team who seem to think it might be the steriod injections, but not had it from round 1 to 4.
Anyone else experienced this?

I experience these lower back pains and sharp shooting pains in my groin and lower back during my chemo sessions. It started on the 3/4th sessions each time I went for chemo my lower back had shotting pains which travelled into my groin area and my legs flet like jelly. It was quite worrying I mentioned it to the nurses and like you say it was the affects from steroids that they give you before chemo. So the nurses slowed down the pace of the infusion which meant I had to be there for a little longer but it did make a difference and I found it help relived the pain.
Might be something to consider, hope you feeling alot better now x
