Lump found in both breasts ????

Hi All

 

I found a lump 6 months ago in my right upper breast I dismissed this as was only able to feel it when I laid on my side, when I felt my left breast I felt the same kind of lump but smaller so kind of just thought thats the way my boobs are !!!

However the lump on my rightbreast can now be felt when I stand with my arm raised and its more central to the lump on my left side I made my husband check and he can feel both and they arnt asymetrical so has ordered me to go to my GP but feel as if I’ll be wasting time and resources

I cant discuss this my mum as we lost my cousin and my Auntie last year to cancer and I know she will freak out

Can you get cancer in both breasts at the same time or is it just my boobs ???
