Recently I found a small lump in my mouth and experienced severe toothache so that I visited a nearby dental clinic in Burlington. My dentist said that it may be the early symptoms of mouth cancer. The dentist found a small lump which she referred to as a tumor which to me looks like an ulcer but, does not hurt on my lower gum.
The dentist made a referral to the hospital, my appointment is next Thursday 19th.
I’m trying to stay positive but honestly, I am worried. I’m 31 and, a single parent with two children. Has anyone had a similar experience, what will happen at the first appointment, will they decide then if a biopsy is needed, if so will it happen on the same day?
Need all your prayers.
Feeling for you, Flower, but how to reply? This is a forum where we have found lumps in our breasts, and maybe following on, this has metasticised else where. Are you in the UK? If you are then why not ring the nurses help line here, and in the meantime download some of their info leaflets, including the one on pathology. Sending big hugs, and prayers, for a positive appointment. X
