Lump in sacro-iliac joint

Hi all.

Really not sure if this is the right place to be posting this…?

Anyway. I have had a hard lump develop on my low back in the area where my hip joins my sacrum, about an inch across & goes very deep to the bone.

It’s very tender & painful beyond belief when I accidentally knock it.

After having to insist my GP refer me (‘we don’t routinely remove lumps on the Nhs’) I’ve had an Ultrasound (Mmmm - I’ve never seen anything like this before) & yesterday a visit to the Breast Clinic where they tried to do a needle biopsy but were unable to remove anything for testing. I’m still recovering from the shock & pain of ten stabs at it with a syringe ? I’m going back in two weeks after they’ve had their weekly meeting.
My question is, could this be some kind of bone met? Do some mets cause lumps to grow as well as make bones weak?
My original diagnosis was in 2001, grade 3, her+, no lymph node involvement but had ducal as well as lobular cancer in that breast.
Thanks in advance
