Lump near armpit

Hi, 

I recently joined after my mum’s recent diagnosis for secondary breast cancer in October. I’m 41 and found this lump under my armpit. I have an appointment with breast clinc next Tuesday. 

Just wondering if anyone can relate to this symptom. A picture is attached.  The lump been noticeable for 2 weeks. It’s tender and a little painful.

Does your doctor think it is an enlarged lymph node, but they’ve done a manual check of your breast on that side ? You haven’t had a vaccination recently on that side ?

I know you’ve had a lot of worry about your Mum and could do without this worry too
