Last night I notice a lump in my breast (right near my nipple). It’s smaller than a pea, round, really painful - it hurts to touch. It feels firm and kind of looks like a spot (but there not head so I’m unsure). Is this something I should go to the doctors about? Or it is likely just to be a spot? How long should I leave it before doing to my GP?
It’s probably nothing, but go to your GP immediately and get it checked by a doctor
Hi ewags04,
Thanks for your post.
Breast changes such as the lump you have noticed can happen for many reasons. They may be due to hormonal changes as part of your monthly cycle (if you are still having periods) or due to benign conditions (not cancer).
As you have noticed this lump as @Vibby says we would always suggest you make an appointment with your GP to be assessed.
