I had a wide excision in January for DCIS - it WA very small area although high grade … no radiotherapy needed. Was very bruised but scar healed well. If I lift my arm I have an indentation but otherwise all is good … However my breast is now very lumpy - I have only just really noticed … is that normal?
Hi, I had lumpectomy in March last year and I have a lumpy scar which is all fine as just had clear mammogram, as yours is quite recent it’s probably just settling down still , our minds will be forever fearful of lumps I’m sure! Speak to your BCN to put your mind at rest if it’s worrying you Xx Jo
Thanks it’s not really the scar but a hard mass through the breast … I will give BCN a call
Just to say that doctor thinks is the residue of haematoma - I was very badly bruised - 3 months later you can still see dark marks
