Hi, i had wle and slnb 3.5 weeks ago now - wounds have healed nicely but my breasts are lumpy and tender…is this to be expected still, after 3.5 weeks?? Does anybody else have difficulty touching and looking at themselves now? I do feel ugly

I think it’s normal for things to take a while to settle but if you have any concerns phone your bcn.
The shape and look of your boob after wle can be a bit of a shock but can change over time so perhaps wait and see what it looks like in a few more months and there’s always the possibility of some reshaping and filling if it needs it.
My oh calls my naughty boob a boob with character!

everything seems to be a worry at the moment, but i guess I’m expecting too much too soon, to have my ‘normal’ feeling boobs back…everything has changed! I am due radiotherapy but first a course of chemo, so the bc roller coaster races on!! Thank you both for your reassurance xxx
