Lymphoedema on old mastectomy during new chemo

Hello, I had high grade DCIS in 2018 (left brreast) and had a mastectomy with sentinel lymph node removal and immediate impant reconstruction. All healed well with occasional lymphodema if I overdid the gardening or something, but a compression bra helped. Ive recently been diagnosed with grade 3 HER2 + in my right breast and had my first round of EC chemo 4 days ago. My side effects have so far been minimal but the lymphodema has been extremely uncomfortable. Not a huge amount of swelling, but noticable and very uncomfortable. Is this to be expected with chemo? Or is it just part of lymph node surgery long term? Thank you x
