Myself and several others with BC noticed that Macmillan often have ads on TV showing the practical help they give cancer sufferers but we found that in reality this was not true in our cases/ area.
We wondered what other people had experienced?
I called them when I was first recalled and was having a bit of a meltdown, I was told someone would phone me back, no one ever did, I really needed someone to talk to at the time. I now get lots of fund raising letters from them, their leaflets can be helpful, but my opinion has been tarnished from my initial contact with them
