There are no indications to say you’d be unable to drive following the placement of your Magseed. Local anaesthetic is used to numb the area before the Magseed which may cause some stinging, and some people report some pressure as the seed is inserted but most people don’t experience any pain.
The DVLA advises that you can drive before and after surgery that is carried out under local anaesthetic, if you are safely able to control the vehicle. As you suggest, specific instructions from your treatment team may been included in your appointment letter, so we would always suggest you check with them to make sure if they have any guidelines in regards to driving.
