Having worried myself stupid all weekend unable to eat or sleep, having realised that my nipple had got very leathery and my right breast was way bigger than it should be and knowing that I’d ignored these symptoms for months not realising they were anything to be worried about till a friend told me, I’ve been to the GP,.
He says there is a mass in my right breast but it’s large and feels more cyst like to him, he can’t feel anything in my lymph nodes either but he has still booked me in for an urgent mammogram, two weeks from today which was the first available appointment.
Do you think I can now relax and stop worrying, he is a great GP, can I trust his gut feel that it’s a cyst like mass and not anything nasty? Sorry to bother you guys again but I’m still really really scared.
