I went for my first year mammogramon February 2nd. Was told that I must wait for the results. Still waiting. The annoying thing is that you could see the images being reviewed in the next room. Am l being unreasonable, or are my fears shared by others.?
I badly need knee replacements that had to be put on hold last year. I now have a pre op assessment , but can’t believe the operation will happen until l know all is ok.
Starting to feel concerned .Is this a common experience, or am I just I unlucky or naive?
I always hold on to the idea that, no news is good news. If there is a problem, then it is normally delt with sooner.
The images are looked at straight away, but not by the specialist and this can take time. At my hospital, things seem to get reviewed once a week, and if someone is off sick, then it can be delayed further.
