HEllo everyone
My mammogram, ultrasound and appt with consultant is today. I have a large hard irregular shaped lump in my L breast which I discovered 2 weeks ago. I can’t understand how I didn’t feel it before; it is like a segment of orange in shape and size - BIG!
This has been such a long week; but I know probably I will have a biopsy so I guess another couple of weeks wait for the results of that. I am so psyched up for this appt today, but I guess I won’t really be told anything until all the results come in. I just keep hoping that it will be obvious on the scanning that it is not breast cancer … but the lump is so big, not sure how they’d know!
Think of me this afternoon; I’m thinking of all of you with lots of different decisions, treatments etc! Good luck to anyone going in today!

Good luck for your appointment today. I hope all goes well. The waiting and not knowing can be really hard. Try and keep yourself busy, easier said than done but stress is a bad thing so take it easy. Let us know how you get on.

Hi Helen,
Big doesn’t necessarily mean bad-it could be a fibroid.If yours is a one-stop clinic you may get results today.If not I hope you dont have to wait too long.
