Hi, being er+ and on tamoxifen for 5 years just wondered if OK to take with manuka honey. Do any of your ladies take this to help protect against colds etc?

When I was having my treatment for BC in 2008, I started with a cold and a tickle in my throat that I couldn’t shift.
One of the Cancer Nurses at the Christie in Manchester told me to use Manuka Honey as it was very good and that they were conducting trials on it with patients who had throat cancer.
If you have any doubt ask your Pharmacist or contact your local Breast Care Nurse, they will know.
