Well that’s my operaration over and I must say although I,m a bit sore and swollen I’m feeling very well. Lucky for me I have a great husband who can not do enough for me a wonderful family, great friends and wonderful nurses and staff at Raigmore Hospital Inverness who have and are supporting all the way. With out them my worries would not have been soothed, my tears dried and my arms filled with hugs. I hope anyone who is about to go through this all the best and lots of hugs.
I have my mastectomy and silicone implant reconstruction this Thursday coming, what type did you have done? I am trying to glean as much information as I can. I feel a bit numb about the whole thing, it’s happening so quickly.
Hi Lazyjane
Good to hear you’re on the way to recovery. I have put for you below the link to one of BCC’s publications you might find helpful.

Hi Lazy Jane,
I am due to get the same op in Raigmore in a couple of weeks time and I am starting to get nervous so it is really reasurring to hear how well you have been cared for. I too have a wonderful husband helping me get through this tough time and I can’t praise the staff at the Highland Breast Centre enough for the service I have received.
Good luck with your continued recovery
