Mastectomy site is so painful

Hi I had a single left breast Mastectomy 2 weeks ago, I live in Turkey and have to travel for 3 hours to the hospital. Went today for the 3rd time to see my surgeon and also now to see Oncologist and sort out Chemo. My problem is that here I cannot find post op bras etc and with all the travelling over mountain roads and the walking around a BIG University hospital, the site of my surgery is so painfull, I am only wearing a cotton vest next to my skin , Would I be better trying to wear a sports bra or something I can only find silicone prothesis here which is too early for me to wear. I think because I have one breast even though small. my clothes rub on the breastless side. Oncologist has just prescribed anti biotics Oral and topical for the problem,

I found it very hard to get bras in Thailand.  I eventually found some but used sport bra type bras until I got one.Go online you should be able to get a soft prosthesis. A lot of companies like Nicola Jane will send them to you. 

 

after my diagnosis the second time I wore sports bra type instead of a normal mastectomy bra which had a little pocket opening and put the soft prosthesis inside. It was a lot more comfortable
