Was diagnosed with breast cancer in my right breat April 2010.I was quite big busted 38F and decided to have a saline expander put in at the same time…my left breastalso had to be reduced in size in the same operation ending up with 3 drains. All was going well than had an infection in my right breast where the saline expander was…but luckily after about 4 weeks of anti biotics and a 10 day stay in hospital it cleared up. Moving on now my expander has 800 ml inserted into it which makes it big enough for the next stage in November when I am due to see the surgeon to discuss my silicone implant…neither of my breasts are comfortable , I have spoken to the care nurse who explained there is discomfort with the expander and I am to expect certain twinges…but I am never comfortable, have tried numerous bras, creams , bio oils nothing helps the pain at night which I describe as chinese torture… when I turn in bed at night I have to hold both of my breasts so it does not hurt so much. Is anyone going through the same agony as me as I would love to hear from you
