I am due my second injection on Thursday ( one week after surgery) I don’t think I can face it with sore boobs and weak arms. I am just concentrating on healing at the moment don’t want flu symptoms as an extra bonus ?. Should I postpone til next week??

Shi, so sorry you’re stuck in with low bloods. Here’s a boogie from our mate Neutro Phil ??? It’s tricky to know if there’s much that helps. I took a supplement called AHCC ahccresearch.com which I think helped keeped my blood counts up (it’s standard issue in Japan). The UK version is on Amazon, just as good and cheaper but it takes a couple of weeks to kick in.

Having had a left mastectomy followed by scans and radiotherapy in a department with lots of young male radiologists quite honestly I’m past caring… they’ve seen it all before.

The only thing I was told to avoid and this was a patient on the chemo ward and not a professional was garlic??? That was after I’d nentioned I’d been eating garlic bread
Oh christ I’ve been eating garlic right through ? none has ever mentioned it to me when I asked my onc what foods to avoid he said eat what you like just be careful how you cook check for freshness if it makes you sick don’t eat it and avoid shellfish and raw egg that was it really!
I was also told to avoid grape fruit ( and Seville oranges ?) but I love marmalade
