meet ups with secondaries durham or newcastle

Hi just read a post for meet ups in newcastle but it was dated nearly 2 years ago. Is there a group or people who do get togethers in Durham or newcastle. I would love to hear from anyone from this area X

I’m sorry you haven’t had any replies to your post yet. I have searched our “Interactive services map” and found the following information:

Hi everyone I posted this a couple of weeks ago, I thought I would try again. Is there anyone local to my area or within a traveling distance. There is a group meets at freeman hospital, is anyone from this group on this forum. Haha I sound a bit desperate but it just would be nice to hear from somebody in the area to compare notes. x

Sorry you havent had many responses. Most of the Newcastle/ durham women have now moved to facebook. There are a couple with secondaries but they are from sheffield and north yorkshire, so not very close. Might I suggest you pm some of the secondaries ladies on here and find out about their facebook group. I know there is at leats one and you might be able to link with some locals there. There is a Shine grp in north tyneside if you are a younger women and there is going to be Maggies soon at The Northern Cancer centre. Really hope you find some local support.

I also live in the Durham area and would be interested in a group meeting. Do you have the details of either the Facebook group or the meeting at the freeman. I’m currently off work so should be to attend a meeting.

Hi Joanne sorry I haven’t replied sooner missed your post. The Freeman group is on a Thursday lunchtime not sure of time. I have tried a few times to find facebook site but haven’t managed it yet. Sorry I’m not being much help. Hope you’re ok x
