Over the past few weeks I have celebrated my sixteen year old leaving high school and today I watched my eleven year old finish primary school. So in September I have one son starting college to do his A levels and another son going onto high school. To some people these are just small landmarks in life but to me they are something I never thought I would see 2 1/2 years ago (when dx with double whammey liver mets). But I have seen my boys move on and I am still here, feeling well and presently NED. So I do believe I will be here for many more landmarks.
Ah that’s lovely ellie. Oh big school next, they always look too big for primary but not quite ready for the big school. Or is that just me? May you have many more landmarks. X
My son is 25 would love to see him married and settled but seems a while off! I’m 5 years out from stage 4 diagnosis from the start, did very well for 4 years now got liver, lung and bones mets and currently on first ever chemo!
I would love many more years but i am blowed if the government are going to do me out of my state pension! Having moved the goalposts twice I now won’t get it until I’m 63.25! So a year in Nov! I’m determined to get that!!
