Can anyone recommend a good moisturiser for night time use that doesn’t cost the earth. I am only 41 but as I am on Zolodex and Femera I am now in the Menopause and my usual skin products do not work and my make up is blotchy because of it . ALso if anyone knows of a day time product with an SPF of 15 or pref. higher I would also appreciate it . Many Thanks x
Hi F1fan
I went to the Clinique counter at my local Boots and asked for advice - they were superb, I got stuff that really works and LOADS of freebies. Have you been to a local ‘Look Good Feel Better’ session? they are also really helpful.
hope this is helpful

Hi F1fan
I will second Monica. I have started using Clinique Super moisture which has SPF 25 and it’s great.

Thanks Monica and Viv - I need to get something soon as my skin actually “hurts”, espeacially if I am having a hot flush. I have never come accross a moisturiser with SPF that high so going to give that a try, thanks. Monica, do you know how I contact the Looking Good Feeling Great people, can’t seem to locate it on the net. TX x
The website you want is lookgoodfeelbetter.co.uk
am using body shop aloe vera SFP15, but might go to a clinique counter.
Hi F1fan- for a number of years now I have been using Decleor products and have found that they have kept my skin in good condition throughout treatment, I am 56 so also have "mature"skin. It is pricy but I find it lasts ages. Try going to a large department store and asking for advice and for samples to try before you decide to buy, staff are usually very helpful and you do not want to waste money on something that does not suit you. Clarins are usually very good for this and sell a product to add to your own moisturiser to add SPF to it - The young lady I spoke to gave me a sample of a very moistuising cream and told me about the additive.
The moisturisers sold by Aldi get really good reviews and are only a couple of pounds per pot. good luck. Marli
I had very sensitive skin before bc and have used Liz Earle for years. Was able to use it all through chemo and rads and now I’m on zoladex and arimidex and very hormonal. It’s full of natural ingredients and nothing that should irritate - gentle enough for my eczema prone skin. You can order it direct and if it’s not suitable, you can send it back. Or it can be ordered via QVC on television and there is a 30 day money back guarantee even if you’ve used half the pot! I also use a Decleor aromessence which is fab - again that can be purchased from QVC so you can send it back. Neither are cheap brands but they last ages and ages and I couldn’t manage without them. Liz Earle body cream is brill for dry skin and has done wonders on my mx scar.
Hi, after having oily skin for as long as I can remember, getting dry skin when I started BC treatment, really threw me. No knowing quite what to do I used to put Bio Oil on my face at night. Then, quite by chance I went for a facial whilst on holiday and discovered the Susan Molyneaux range. I now buy her moisturiser for dry/sensitive skin and its fab. Can only be bought online or through stockists though.
