Just a very quick thank you to all who have posted their stories, treatments, therapies and general advice on all of these forums
I may not be super active on here but i read a lot of your posts and store all the info. You are all very inspiring.
I have my first app with my oncologist on 4th Jan 24 so at least i can chill over Christmas and New Year.
I wish you all a very merry Christmas and the most peaceful of New Years. You are all in my thoughts.

Thank you I’ve struggled to get into the Christmas spirit but I think I’ll be there when it counts . Have a lovely Christmas and New Year - no appointments / letters / Hospital visits

Hi joanne.
My surgery was beginning of Nov. Ive healed really well and back to “normality”.
My tumour was double the size they originally thought and because of that it’ll, unfortunately, chemo and herceptin, radiotherapy and then endocrine blockers. Whoop!!! Not.
No choice but to be ok. Lots of people in worse situations so I’m very lucky. Had my ECG this week too.
Hope you’re as well as can be.
I know very little about these treatments but my inbox is always open for anything, even if its nothing.

It’s a great bunch of people on here, in a group your never though you’d belong to. Everyone is so supportive 
Yes I’m ok thanks - had a bit of a wobble earlier in the week because we lost my Dad and Uncle within 2 months of each other this year and I was feeling it more than for the last few months - but I’m hoping that it will still be joyful . I’m coming round now.

Gammon is boiled. Swedes/carrots mashed. Parsnips and carrots peeled and ready for roasting. Spuds peeled and ready for par boiling. Mother in law bringing red cabbage and Christmas pud. Partner doing sprouts.
