Message for Lucy1 Hello Lucy1
I’m sorry to hear you are so poorly at the moment. I have just tried to contact my friend who went to the Oasis but she is not in at the moment. Her tumour was large and it had spread to the lymph nodes but not anywhere else. The reason she went was because she didn’t want a mastectomy. After the treatment the tumour had completely gone and she is so full of praise for the Oasis. The last time I heard she was doing very well and goes back for regular check ups from time to time. I did contact the Oasis myself and I think the cost is around £20,000 for the intial treatment. I decided against it at this point because I needed a mastectomy and wanted an immediate reconstruction which they didn’t do. If my cancer returns after the chemo and herceptin I would certainly consider going to the Oasis.
If you are purchasing the B17 from the Oasis have you had a telephone chat with one of the doctors because they will get someone to call you back and discuss the cost of treatment if you decide to go that route.
Wishing the all the best.
Love
M

hi hi Mardy, thanks for geting back to me. friends of mine are doing a parachute jump to raise money fro me to go to the oasis, Im amazed at your friends response!!, i spoke to a doctor there a couple of days ago. Im awaiting scan results, and if they are not good i will hopefully get to mexico, im afraid of flying, can you believe it!!, but will still go pending onwhat we can raise. If you get to speak to your friend i would like to know how she is doing, and did she have chemo, as the dr said if chemo stops working, as i my case they use a different approach, oxygen , and ozone treatment, which is similar to a blood transfusion. take care Mardy and thanks again x
Hi M
My Mum has just been diagnosed with liver secondaries. She is being offered chemo and herceptin to slow things down but we have been told there is no cure. We have found the Oasis on the internet and would be very interested to hear anyones experiences who has been there for treatment or indeed from anyone who has investigated any other alternative or comlimentary therapies either in the UK or abroad.
many thanks
x
I looked at lots of clinics Hi Captiva
I’m so sorry to hear about your Mum’s diagnosis. You must both be in awful state of shock.
I suppose I am fortunate at the moment because although my tumour was a grade 3 it hasn’t spread. When I was originally diagnosed I was terrifed of the prospect of a mastectomy and chemotherapy so I investigated Clinics all over the world, especially in Europe. I found them on www.cancure.org website. I contacted about 6 or 7 by email and received a response back either by email or phone. Your mum could get a telephone consultation from Mexico for free. At least it would be a starting point.
I decided to opt to go the convential route but would definitely consider going to one of the other clinics if I was told there was nothing else they could do for me.
I do believe there are hospitals in this country that can remove liver tumours and I think Basingstoke may be one of them. There is also another very new treatment to treat liver secondaries from Australia but at the moment I can’t remember what it’s called.
One of my friends is currently being treated in Mexico and at first had a very good response to treatment. I have just heard that she has got a couple of new small tumours appeared in her breast. She chose not to have a mastectomy although her consultant in Mexico and here in the UK recommended it. Despite this she still has a lot of faith in Mexico and is going back in January for more treatment.
If I can help you in any way please let me know and I will try to find out what the Australian crystals are called.
Love to you both
M
