I had a lumpectomy for DCIS 1 1/2 years ago. Lymph nodes were clear and I was told it was stage zero. On my follow up mamogram and ultra sound my other breast now has two small spots 0.6 cm and 1.3cm) I will have a biopsy, of course. Is this considered a second primary or metastatic cancer?
