Well yesterday I spent the day at the Western General going through more tests in order to get on this trial (Sutent v Xeloda). I’ve had a bone scan, ecg, heatscan, ct scan including the brain.
Now all i have to do is sit and wait on the results! I don’t think I will get these until at least Monday so I’ll need to try my hardest to put it to the back of my mind.
I’m taking the kids to the cinema on Saturday to see Mama Mia, and i am going out for tea on Sunday so hopefully I’ll be kept busy.
I just hope the results are fine and the wait has been worth it.

Hi Diane - I am glad the tests are through at least that’s one hurdle out of the way. My sister works at the Western General (for the University) there is some really great research and trials going on there. She checks out my treatment with the onc. there to make sure I am getting the best! (and I am at the Marsden!). Let me know what Mamma Mia is like please - quite tempted to go as well.
