Most supportive bra for large breasts, Expert recommendations to choose

I researched the most supportive bra for large breasts to find the perfect option for comfort lift and all day support. After reading expert reviews from trusted sources and checking highly recommended styles, two bras consistently stand out as top-rated options for fuller bust sizes.

Elomi Women’s Charley Bandless Spacer Molded Bra

https://www.amazon.com/Elomi-Charley-Seamless-Breathable-Underwire/dp/B07SH8TDS6/?th=1&psc=1

  • Strong support and lift for DD+ and larger cup sizes

  • Breathable ultra-light spacer fabric for all-day comfort

  • Smooth molded cups for a rounded natural shape

  • Floral lace with diamond mesh detailing for stylish design

  • Great under t-shirts and fitted clothes because of seamless cups

SHAPERMINT Sweetheart Bra

https://www.amazon.com/SHAPERMINT-Sweetheart-Bras-Women-Comfortable/dp/B0F8W6SX4Q/

  • Wireless full coverage support

  • Soft seamless fabric for smooth wear under clothes

  • Comfortable for daily use and long hours

  • Gentle push-up lift without underwire

  • Flexible fit with good shaping support

Both seem excellent but I am having trouble deciding which one is best for my needs.I am mainly looking for a bra that offers:strong support for large breasts, comfortable all-day wear, good lift and shape, no shoulder strain and smooth fit under clothes.

Does anyone here have experience with either of these bras?I would love to hear your thoughts, recommendations or any expert suggestions before I buy.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve not heard of either. I’m a 38DD edging towards an E and like Fantasie underwired with side supports. When looking for non wired I’ve found Boody to be very comfortable and supportive.

But everybody’s bust is different. It’s taken a while to find perfect for me as my breasts aren’t particularly together and point away from each other when they’re not rounded up :joy:

Ooh, love bra chat. Annoyingly those are both restricted in sizing. The Elomi only starts at a 34 band, and the Shapermint is multi sized so doesn’t really work if you have a large bust/smaller back.

I think bras a bit like shoes in that you need to get ones that work for your shape and proportions as well as your size. Panache bras seem to work well on me at the moment, having previously been a fan of Fantasie side support bras. For a non wired bra, I love the Nova Lounge bra from bravissimo Nova Lounge Bra | Soft Non Wired Bralette | Bravissimo UK or the Panache Rocha Rocha Non Wired Comfort Bra by Panache | Black | Non Wired Bra | Bravissimo

Are you in the US ? The links you posted are wanting to take me to the US Amazon page . The Shapermint one looks more of a fashion item and looks designed to make the most of an impressive cleavage . After surgery having your breasts pushed up together like that is not great. The Elomi has a proper range of back and cup sizes - so a better choice after surgery I would say . It looks quite like the Safina which I wore yesterday and got online from Nicola Jane who do go up to an H cup in some styles and have a good helpline and customer service on email as well that you can use for advice. It’s worth bearing in mind that each bra regardless of size will fit differently - I have bras in 3 different cup sizes and have elected to keep wearing post- surgery bras as they are more comfortable and better made than ordinary ones. I hope you find something that works for you xx

Thank you both for your helpful suggestions and insights.

@greenqueen, that’s a great point about bra fit being very individual. I hadn’t considered the sizing limitations of these options, especially the Shapermint’s multi-size design. I’ll definitely take a closer look at Panache, Fantasie, and the Bravissimo recommendations you mentioned.

@JoanneN, thank you for sharing your experience. Your comments about post-surgery comfort and proper support are really helpful. I agree that the Elomi seems to offer a more structured fit with its wider size range. I’ll also check out Nicola Jane and the Safina style you mentioned, as comfort and support are my top priorities.

I appreciate both of you taking the time to respond. It is been very helpful to hear from people with real experience, and you’ve given me some excellent alternatives to consider.
