Hello lovelies, first post here.
I found a weird dent in my left breast around six weeks ago, and a lump just under the dent, so made an appointment with the GP and she had a feel then referred me to hospital.
I’ve had a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy that was last Tuesday, they said they found “something” on the ultrasound, and I’ve been told there is calcification and distortion? Not sure what the second part means though.
This Wednesday I’m going for an MRI scan, so does this mean they know it’s more severe than they are telling me, or is this normal procedure?
Because I live 30 miles away from the hospital and don’t drive I requested to have an appointment where all my results can be discussed in one go, as I have terrible anxiety and find it difficult travelling especially on public transport.
So it’s all a bit of a waiting game at the moment. Just hope things are okay, but my mind is going into overtime thinking about things.
Just want to know really, then move forward from there.
I’m not worried about the MRI scan itself, as I’m not claustrophobic or anything, I’m just worried about the outcome…
Just looking for support really. Thanks for reading this
