Hello. As I posted the other day my mum has cancer and her op is scheduled for the 22nd January. When she was being examined at her appointment the other day, her Dr said he could feel a thickening in the breast that she had the biopsy taken from. He said its probably from the biopsy and the nurse said she couldn’t feel anything. But now my mums worrying they have missed something. But surely her MRI, mammogram or ultrasound, at least one of them would have picked something else up? Xx
Hi Bumblegirl, I had a needle test and then a core biopsy where they take some tissue and mine feels thicker where they have put the needle in. I did mention this yesterday when I went for my scan results and options and they said it was ok. I am having my op on the 24th and feel possitive I am in save hands. Try not to worry as they have come on so much and seem to have the best treatments available to suit your mum.
Big Hugs and Prayers Love Suzanne xxxx
Hi Rosie. Thanks for replying. So sorry to hear you’re in this situation too. My Mum rung the nurse yesterday and the nurse said they aren’t worried about the fact that tissue could be a bit thicker. Can’t wait for the operation to be over with now xx
