Mumsnet's C-Word campaign

We’ve been working with Mumsnet on their C-Word campaign, running throughout October, which aims to raise awareness about breast, ovarian and cervical cancer with their forum users.

Each week there’s a chance to ask your questions to experts from cancer charities. We’re working with Breakthrough Breast Cancer to answer Mumsnetters’ questions about breast cancer this week.

After that, Ovarian Cancer Action will be answering questions about ovarian cancer, and then it will be Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust’s turn to answer Mumsnetters’ questions about cervical cancer.

So if you do have questions about any of these cancers, visit mumsnet.com/campaigns/the-c-word

One of the reasons Mumsnet has been so keen to run this campaign is that one of the founders, Carrie Longton, lost her mother to secondary breast cancer in 1991. She talked about her experience in the Mail on Sunday and you can read the interview here: dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-1313998/Carrie-Longton-Why-Mumsnet-founders-campaign-cause-close-heart.html
