Both have a fever today…and I am due for chemo tomorrow…mmmmm…will I have to stay away from the little ones now?
My nurse tells me that we are good at being immune to infections within our own house. I moved out for the night when my wee one had sickness and she told me it was fine to go back home. It did make me feel like I was protecting myself to be away though as like you it was the run up to chemo. Tricky…
mmmm…hey ho…suppose I shall have to wait and see…
Hi Babyboo
My chemo nurse said that the mother is pretty immune to her kids infections, as I asked this question on my first session (only had 2). My little girl is back at preschool next week, so am sure she will pick up lots, but hopefully won’t affect me too much. Had a cold last week but not felt ill really.
Think cos you carry them for 9 months, they have your immune system as such and think that you become immune to each other. Speak to them tomorrow and see what they say. But hopefully you will be ok.
Let us know how you go.
Take care
Love

Hi
That’s good to hear and I hope your BC nurses are right…I’ve been a bit worried about this now that my little one has gone back to school.
