Hi Irene
sorry to hear of the loss of your friend, its not a very good week too many losses lets just pray for a cure and hope it comes along soon.
Love Debsxxx
Thankyou all so much. I have just read these posts tonight as I have been away on a long awaited family holiday abroad which coincided with my friends funeral which I sadly missed. I have had quite moments on holiday, thinking about her, but it was not until I returned that it really hit home that I would not be seeing her again. I don’t even know where she is buried exactly. I will be contacting her partner this week to get this information and hope he is coping.
My friend was 50 but so young at heart that it seems very tragic that she is no longer here. This truely is a terrible disease and I will be doing some kind of fundraising in the near future in memory of my friend.
Thanks again
Irene
Welcome home from holiday Irene, and I hope that as well as the reflective times, you had a really great holiday and lots of fun as well. I can fully understand how being home again has made everything you left behind come flooding back and that you might be feeling a bit low. Please do let us know how things go over the coming days and weeks. As you say, this is a very cruel disease. Sarah x
