Hi Yukimata,

I am sorry to hear you and your wife are going through this difficult time. Hopefully another user will be along shortly to share their support.

In the meantime do give our support line a call at 0808 800 6000 who will be able to talk to you more about the medicines available and hydrogen water.

If you are calling from outside the UK then the number you need to call is (+44) 20 7620 0077. Just to let you know this number is unfortuneatly not free.

Best wishes,

Lizzy

Hello Yukimato

Sorry, I’ve only just seen your post. Also, I’m very sorry to hear of your wife’s diagnosis.

You’re probably better posting in the secondaries area as the ladies there are more likely to be able to help, particularly as I know a lot of them have had Xeloda (Capecitabine). It’s generally very well tolerated (though not by me - I had to stop taking it after less than one cycle, but having said that it was reducing my mets). Many women have been kept stable for many years on that chemotherapy and it’s taken in tablet form, so generally people can get on with their lives without as many hospital appointments.

With my best wishes to you and your wife. It’s so nice that you’re helping her in this way.

X
