Nails After Chemo

Hello ladies.

I had my last Chemo 9 weeks ago and whilst my nails are very discoloured (look like I smoke 40 a day) I have managed to hang on to them.

My question is how long should I wait before going a gel polish manicure (ie set under a uv lamp) as opposed to just ordinary nail polish.

Hi helen.
I’ve just had my fourth chemo and love wearing gel polish. I mentioned it to my chemo nurse and she said it was ok to wear dark colours of gel. Not to pick the gel off but to soak it off. She did tell me if my nails becam sore to remove the gel. My nails have been fine with no problems.
