nasal congestion Has anyone had this side effect? Im not sure actually whether it was the Taxol which did it (Im now 4 weeks post Chemo) or whether its a side effect from my Chemopause. My hormone levels are now low and my Onc says Im post menopausal. So is anyone experiencing nasal congestion. I haven`t mentioned it to anyone as there have been so many other more pressing things to discuss with the medical team but it is really bothersome and keeps me awake at night.

Hi Frances,
Yes I had the same thing that lasted for about 3 months post chemo and then just disappeared. Felt all the time that I was brewing a cold without the other symptoms. Hopefully yours will go as well

thanks Tess. that’s helpful to hear about your experiences Tess. Were you on a similar Chemo regime I wonder. Mine was accelerated AC X4 and Taxol X4.

Hi Frances
I had a short course of chemo, 4 courses AC, and apparantly so one of the nurses told me it is a symptom more associated with that chemo. Throughout it my nose run continously, very attractive!!
