Hi there.
As many of you who have read some of my posts will know, my diet is absolutely pants. I never eat fruit. I only eat carrots and will only eat leek in soup
I have carrot and swede at Christmas and that is it.
I’m wondering if any of you have any really good soup recipes? My bc nurse has suggested it’s a way to get vitamins down my throat without resorting to supplements.
The recipies would need to be blendable as I’m not very good at eating it if I can see it if you know what I mean.
Any other healthy tips will be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou in advance xx
It’s not a soup recipe but a little tip. If you like spag bol, chilli etc grate carrots and courgettes into the sauce can’t see or taste them then.

Hi Sonya, I’ve just read your other post and I am so sorry that your results were not as good as you hoped.
I don’t know many soup recipes, but I did invest in a Nutribullet as alot of the really good cancer fighting greens are things I don’t like. Therefore I blend spinach, baby kale and watercress (sometimes just one, other times a bit of all three) and mix with strawberries, bananas, blueberries (or any other fruit I have in the fridge) and top it up with a bit of water and blend. It sounds horrible, it certainly looks horrible (like mud!) but doesn’t actually taste too bad and is drinkable. I find this easier than trying to add spinach etc to my meals (I’m not great with vegetables either).
Take care. Michelle x
Hi Sonya, we have a thread, which you might like - where we share all of the Feel-Good stuff - including - SOUP RECIPES! forum.breastcancercare.org.uk/t5/Chemotherapy/Chemotherapy-Tips-and-Tricks/m-p/1019916#U1019916
Hi Sonya
Macmillan have some good soup recipes on their website. They also have other recipes designed to be easy to eat and prepare. Might give you some ideas. I think they will also post you a free booklet with all the recipes if that is easier to use in the kitchen.
Hope you find something which tempts you.
