Hi Belle ,had some sleep but also woke up extremely anxious a few times too.Spent a lot of time on my own today ,not good but also need to do it .Have been given access to on line CBT support tools by mental health team ,can use alongside face to face therapy .Will give it a go .How you doing today ?

Hello and hope CBT online is helpful Jill. Scratch the good sleep - last night resorted to tablet at 3 - no anxiety at least but not sleeping unaided. It was a blooming shock when the alarm went this morning for first day back - although it was only 4 hours. Wishing everyone a peaceful and sleep filled night x
Hope you managed some sleep Janey - good luck at work today .I got some sleep , woke up in night with headache I’ve had for past 5/6 days but not anxious - turn up fir the books .Had half hours peace this morning - but it’s kicked in again now - oh well …
The CBT on line stuff is very basic but I think will be helpful alongside face to face sessions as you can read and re-read it whenever you want to re-enfiecw things . Belle did you get any sleep ??
Hi Belle ,I’m finding CBT hard going as focussing on the anxiety when all I really want to distract myself from it is hard .But if it helps I will persevere .Not feeling great today physically( still have bad head and feel exhausted plus asthma bad -never ending -feel such a moaner ) or mentally -just had one of those moments when I just want to weep as this is restricting my life so much and is so exhausting .The thought of Christmas is filling me with dread - having visitors and having to be " normal " for 24 hours .Keep telling myself to just take one day at a time and look too far ahead .I could be feeling a lot better in 3.5 weeks couldn’t I ??? Have GP appt tomorrow 8.30 am - good way to start the day with an anxiety inducing appointment !!!

pop op into the local pharmacy and check with the pharmacist(not the lady selling stuff) tell them which drugs you are on and get them to check…I do that with everything…even zinc can stop a drug being quite as effective xx

Lovely friends, just want to share…have just gone to bed as aware I’m feeling unwell again…? Cellulitis or a gluey thing…I now know for certain that having less than 6 hours sleep sends my immunity down…so what I’m trying to get over is that while we are asleep, our body does all the fixing, cleansing etc…
see , I’m just like you…but keep getting it wrong…too much 'it ’ i think…then oh clumps up and down, waking me up1. Witch the cbt, they are trying to help you think differently about your anxiety…it’s a normal sensation…but you will feel better soonxx

Belle,I meant Moijans 6 hours sleep would be luxury - I had more like 4 -in chuncks !!!
Stopped taking the Valerian and didn’t find slept any worse or any better so prob having no effect and was expensive .

Belle I am now trying half a phenergen about an hour before bed. Sleep still elusive, but when I do finally go to sleep I stay asleep till the alarm. X
