Good idea! Gonna have a piece of toast with it and marmalade!
Thought id go shopping this afternoon and buy myself a comfortable bra. Been putting up with the sports bra for far too long. Any ideas? M&S?

Hi ,feel a bit better for acupuncture and for being out of the house for a couple of hours and talking to someone else .Only going on holiday in this country but as I find just leaving the house difficult at moment hard to know if it will just be too much for me.We are giving it another week and see how I am - we have cancellation insurance .
I really want to go but not as a jibbering wreck !!!
Yes I’m thinking that I may be a wreck at first but calm down -it’s hard to know really .Going 3 hours drive away in North Yorkshire - place we have been many times .Give or another week see how I feel- I find going away anxiety provoking at the best of times cos guess who organises everything ???
Hi guys
Just thought I’d share that ASDA (online) do some really comfortable post surgery pocketed bras (and very reasonably priced). I personally find them more comfortable than more expensive brands. Xx
Good morning Ladies, it is mid week and hope that everyone is alright. It has been so quiet here…
Sue…how did your bra shopping go?
Jill… how are you keeping? Have you decided to go on your holiday?

Hi jbelle
Yes, managed to get one from Debenhams! I do struggle though to find one that fits, so I must be a weird shape! Quite pleased with the one I’ve got, because even though I have one boob bigger than the other now, it doesn’t show.
How are you? Xx
Hi just cancelled holiday cos even the thought of it was too much for me - was upsetting but they have given us deferred credit so we can book again to go in next 2 years -that felt a bit better - we will go just not right now.Felt " normal " for several hours yesterday evening after accupuncture in the morning - was a lovely feeling - didn’t last til this morning though just need it to last longer now!!
Feel exhausted after cancelling holiday it took it out of me !!
Yes I think it was the right decision like you say Belle if I am exhausted just cancelling it imagine how I would have been !! .Have been going either once or twice a week to accupuncture depending on when she can fit me.Breathing was also great yesterday evening after session but worse again this am - it’s all obviously interlinked .I am going again on Friday -hope effects last longer .Always end up blubbing in the sessions now too !!! She said it is the points she uses - releasing the stress .Just so disappointing when you feel better to then feel worse again !!
Jbelle
I’ll try Asda next time I’m over that way thanks.
I still find it hard to look in the mirror, so trying on bras was challenging, especially when there is always about 3 mirrors in the changing rooms. Cant really avoid it!
Remind me…what hormone/medication are you on?
Sorry to hear you are struggling with the anxiety. What works for you?

Hi everyone
It’s really helpful to read all of your different coping mechanisms and the different things you struggle with. I am now struggling with everything post treatment and especially after losing my mom 2 weeks after finishing all my treatment. I was diagnosed at 31 years old and am now on anastrozole and zoladex - experiencing lots of hot flushes, sleepless nights etc. Am definitely thinking of trying yoga - hadn’t thought of acupuncture but might look into that too.
Xx
The needles only hurt for a moment - going every day would be rather expensive and a bit of a challenge !!
Hi Warrior accupuncture is certainly worth a try must have been very hard losing your Mum as well- a lot of stress and upset to deal with in a short space of time .
Belle I may give the Alpranax a go - how quickly does it work - a bit worried re side effects after reacting to other medications already making things even worse .
Oh belle, sounds so stressful for you.
I’m on letrozole and zoladex and I would say joint pain and fatigue are the hardest things to deal with. Find still pacing myself throughout the day. Only work a few hours, but going to increase that slightly and see how I go. I don’t think people understand how hard that is.
I did CBT a few years back and suffered with health anxiety. This whole bc thing just makes that all much worse doesn’t it?
It’s so difficult taking these drugs, because it brings on all these other issues. But too scared to stop!

Sounds very tempting Belle if it works so quickly -it doesn’t seem to contain any “nasties” but I’m wary of anything that may make things worse !!!
Sue I had chronic fatigue syndrome for a number of years it has made me very sensitive to a lot of things including medications.Belle you are welcome -helps me too.?
The only thing that really helped me Sue was time ,changing my working hours and working out what foods etc made things worse .I went for private allergy testing /food sensitivity testing and worked out what made me worse and how I could reduce exposure .Yes it helps when it’s acknowledged what you are dealing with -no easy solution though .?
I was diagnosed many years ago long before cancer diagnosis .I have occasional bad day now but have learnt what makes things worse and how to manage it .After chemo it will be hard to work out what is causing your fatigue .
