Still awaiting first lumpectopy surgery date confirmation (deferred twice for more tests)…
HELL fortnight…but want to enjoy some feel good treats. Booked a massage with “cancer trained” company…but anyone recommend anything else they wished they’d done before journey ahead??
For feel goods, maybe some underwear? I hated the look of all the post surgery ones that made me feel I would look like a patient (just my view), so I bought some crop tops before my op which were lovely (invisible seamless ones, lightly padded and supportive, not expensive from Primark, lovely colours) and some matching briefs including pretty lacy ones to go with them. I’m sure lots of other shops will do similar. My view was just because I was having/had surgery, didn’t mean I couldn’t still have nice matching underwear and it was an excuse to go shopping! They’re that nice I still occasionally wear them now.
Oh, and I hear you! I was deferred twice too and it really is hellish. Hang tight, though, you’ll get there. x
