Hi
I’m 45 recently diagnosed with grade 2 id with axillary node involvement. I’m having chemo first. I’ve had a clip inserted in both areas and the medics are hoping that the cancer will ‘melt away’ as a result of chemo. The plan is to do a lumpectomy with reductions on both sides.
Anyone else in a similar situation?
Hi Alley. I had neo adjuvent chemo for grade 2, er+ and her2+ BC. I had a masectomy afterwards and there was no cancer left so chemo did the job! Good luck with yreatment xx
I’m 41 and just finished cycle 4 of FEC-T neo adjuvant. I’m also grade 2 but triple neg. had a mammogram after cycle 2 and the cancer had shrunk from 4.5cm to 1.9cm! After only two cycles!! Fingers crossed yours responds as well as mine has! Best of luck!
Hi
Thanks for the reply SarahAlex77. Good news about yours shrinking. I’m having 3rd FEC next Friday all being well. I hope I’m offered a scan some point soon as the oncologist only seems to be taking manual measurements with callipers!
Thanks good wishes to you too for the rest of your treatment
Let us know how you get on!! Good luck!!
Hi guys, happy new year, hope you had a great break. I had my first ‘T’ on 21st!! Boy it hit me hard!! I couldn’t do very much for a week! Hopefully will be better prepared for next one…
