New lump confusion

Going through breast cancer treatment

Hey all.
I had grade 3 stage 2 IDC 2020 aged 32. I had a therapeutic mammoplasty. I have brca 2 mutation and I’m waiting for a mastectomy .

I recently found a lump on the same side along my scar line. Last week I went to the breast clinic and saw an advanced nurse practitioner. I was sent for a mammogram and ultrasound and was then told it is all fine. My lump is just scar tissue. Bye bye see you next year for your next mammogram.
Anyway. Yesterday I had a phone call asking me to go back next weds for some more tests. I only spoke to the receptionist but she said they need to do more tests to make sure.
I’m really confused.
Why would they have changed their minds since sending me on my merry way?
Has anybody had this?

Pips :heart: phone your team and ask to speak to your breast care nurse or ask them to get one of the consultants to contact you to discuss why :heart: also call the number on here and speak to a nurse if you don’t get what you want from your team :heart::two_hearts::two_hearts::sparkles::sparkles:Shi xx
