My friend training in reflexology and found a lump under the arch of my foot. Went to see consultant 2 days ago for check up and showed it to him . He said it’s nothing to do with your breast cancer but I will make an appointment for you to have it checked. What do I read from that? Did he mean it’s not Cancer? Or it’s just not related to my breast cancer. Aaaarrgghh. Should have asked that question yes?

Don’t stress yourself out over the questions you think you should have asked,. I am the worlds worst for that, it seems every time i go for a check up i am struck dumb! I also read the worst into everything i hear and always kick myself afterwards for not asking so i go home and worry. I think in this case he is covering himself not that it is anything dodgey but if he does not run a check with your history and there was something wrong he is scared you may sue him! It could be something really normal like a gangoline (sorry bad spelling) which you can have treated if you have problems walking.
Do let me know after the check up and try not too worry, i know that is easier said than done. My friend always says ‘don’t borrow trouble’, easy for her to say i know but we do worry about every little twinge and pain.

Thanks Suzanne, I know you are right, and up until now I have thought how strong I have been. However the longer time goes on the more I am beginning to worry a little. I think it may be a little thing about ‘feeling cast adrift’, I know other people have felt this way as well. Anyway am poing to be positive and I will let you know the results. Wonder if I I will get an appointment at the foot or lump clinic (lol)
